The Affordable Art Fair (AAF) is coming to Singapore! The first edition will welcome 60 galleries from across Asia, Australasia, and beyond.
The AAF makes buying contemporary art possible for every budget and taste. Its friendly and relaxed environment invites first time buyers to browse amongst thousands of paintings, original prints, photography and sculpture, whilst seasoned collectors can seek out hot new artists.
The selected galleries offer a wide range of art: from figurative to abstract, from traditional to avant-garde. With prices ranging from S$100 to S$10,000, it is an art-buying opportunity that cannot be missed!
A wide range of features will make AAF Singapore a great place for art enthusiasts to see and buy great art. Throughout the open days, there will be free printmaking demonstrations, a special Graduate Exhibition, walking art tours and children's workshops as well as a funky cafe where you can sit, relax and take in all your have seen and grab a bite to eat or drink.
In short, AAF Singapore is a Fair which makes buying contemporary art approachable, affordable, interesting and fun - it shows that you don't have to be a millionaire with a doctorate in fine art to buy it!
Our targeted and extensive marketing campaign ensures that we attract a strong buying crowd, working with a local PR agency, media partners and employing a widespread outdoor, print and online advertising campaign. We expect 9,000 visitors in the first year and exhibiting at AAF Singapore is the perfect opportunity for galleries to connect with local Singaporean and regional buyers and to sell your artists' works.
The AAF is hosted in 9 cities throughout the world: London, New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Bristol, Brussels, Milan (first edition in February 2011), Sydney and Melbourne... and now Singapore. Since its inception, we have organised 52 fairs, gathering 700 galleries annually, and exhibiting thousands of artists. Over the 10 years, 200,000 of the 600,000 visitors have bought artwork at the AAF for the global sum of US$ 177 million.
